Not for private work. Merge, split, organize, rotate, compress, protect and page numbering all run inside our secure processing layer. Only formats tagged Cloud are sent to our conversion network, and those files are deleted from it immediately after the result is returned.

Only the text you submit is sent to our AI processing partner or translation partner (DeepL) to produce the result. It is not used to train their models under our business terms, and we do not retain it after the response is delivered.

It indicates that the operation runs on a private processing engine. Privacy-first architecture combining secure, instant-wipe local processing and private cloud pipelines.

No copies, no backups, no analytics on document contents. Closing the tab clears everything except the drafts you explicitly save, which live in our secure workspace storage.

Only to Paddle. There is no card input field anywhere in this app and no payment data is stored in our database.

Free guests and free accounts keep whiteboards for the current session only — they are wiped when the browser closes. Plus keeps whiteboard data for 24 hours and Pro for 7 days. Tool files are deleted instantly after download in every tier. You can also clear our secure workspace drafts at any time from the workspace or templates page.

Private PDF tools work offline once the app is loaded. Cloud conversions, AI features, translation, board saving and account sync need a connection.

We use a minimal cookie to remember your language preference and, for signed-in users, your session. We do not run advertising trackers or analytics scripts that read document content.

The core application is not open source. We rely on private PDF engine for secure PDF processing and credit them in our about page.

Add text boxes you can drag, double-click to edit and delete, plus freehand drawing, highlighting, shapes, images and sticky notes. You can also reorder pages, merge, split, rotate and add page numbers without leaving the page.

It scans the text layer of your document, highlights suspected mistakes directly on the page and offers a one-click fix that rewrites the affected words back into the file.

Pages are now rendered at high density for retina and high-DPI screens, so text stays sharp at any zoom level. If a page still looks soft, the source PDF is likely a low-resolution scan.

Open the workspace, choose the Organize or Merge option from the PDF tools, drop the files in the order you want, then download the combined PDF. Everything stays in our secure workspace.

Use the Split tool to break a PDF by page ranges or extract every page as its own file. You can preview the split points before downloading.

You can add new text boxes, highlights and shapes on top of any PDF. Editing the existing text layer of a scanned image-based PDF works only if the scan already contains recognized text.

Choose the Numbering tool, pick a position and starting number, and apply it to the whole document or a selected range. The result downloads as a new PDF.

Yes. The Organize view shows thumbnails of every page. Drag to reorder, or rotate individual pages clockwise or counter-clockwise.

Use the Protect tool to set an owner or user password and restrict printing or copying. The encrypted file is created securely and wiped right after download.

Free guests can upload up to 10MB per file, Plus members up to 50MB, and Pro members up to 500MB. These limits apply to all tools and conversions.

The converter lists roughly 200 document, image, audio, video and archive formats, grouped by category and searchable by extension. Targets that run in our secure workspace are tagged Instant.

Use Upload a file in the header, drop a file onto the homepage dropzone, or open the format catalog. Once a file is selected you pick a target format and convert, or send a PDF straight into the workspace.

Cloud formats convert live through our secure cloud conversion network, while core private formats run in our secure workspace. Privacy-first architecture combining secure, instant-wipe local processing and private cloud pipelines.

Yes. Document conversions are handled by our cloud network. Select your source PDF, choose DOCX, XLSX or PPTX as the target, and download the converted file.

Conversions aim to preserve layout and content, but complex formatting may shift slightly between formats. We recommend reviewing the output before sharing it.

Common causes are a corrupted source file, an unsupported codec, exceeding the file-size limit, or a temporary cloud-network issue. Try re-uploading or contact us with the file extension and target format.

Pro members can run up to 300 cloud conversions per day. Plus and free tiers are limited to the file-adjustment allowance shown on the pricing page.

Use template is a quick form-driven editor for filling in the essentials. Design Studio opens a full A4 layout with professional typography, colour, spacing and media controls tailored to each template type.

Yes. Business branding stores your business name, tagline and logo locally in your session and writes them into invoices, letters and CVs automatically the next time you open a template.

Drafts are stored locally in your session so you can come back to them, and you can export a finished document to PDF at any time.

We include CVs, cover letters, resignation letters, invoices, business letters, portfolios and more. Basic layouts are free; advanced bundles and Design Studio access are included in paid plans.

Yes. Upload your logo once in the business branding panel and it appears on every supported template. Colors can be adjusted inside Design Studio.

You cannot upload a custom template file, but you can heavily customize the built-in templates in Design Studio and save the result as a PDF.

Yes. KPI Dashboard, OKR Tracker and Project Budget are Pro templates, and the Expense Sheet is available on Plus. Each one has its own charts, tables and editable blocks, and exports to A4 PDF.

Basic graphic layout templates are free. Advanced career bundles, AI-assisted document creation and premium Design Studio controls require Plus or Pro.

No. All AI tools require Pro. AI Design generations are capped at 50 per day and the remaining count is shown in the template designer.

Yes. Import a PDF onto the canvas and its pages are laid out as locked background slides, so you can add notes, shapes and images around and on top of them.

Yes. The board includes process, decision and start/end nodes with smart connectors that snap to anchor points, plus straight, elbow and curved routes, arrowheads and editable labels.

A project keeps the files for one piece of work together. From Projects you can send a file straight to a board, compress it, open it in the document tools, translate it or return it to the workspace.

You can export the current canvas view as an image or PDF from the workspace menu. Background PDFs and annotations are included in the export.

Free boards are temporary and wiped when the browser session ends. Plus boards persist for 24 hours and Pro boards for 7 days, and can be revisited, shared and synced across platforms.

No session recordings are made. Realtime cursors and shapes are ephemeral messages; only the final board state is stored, and only for registered users within the retention window.

Yes. The whiteboard includes sticky notes, connectors, dashed lines, shapes, freehand drawing, text and images. Some advanced tools are gated to Plus or Pro.

Yes. Start drawing for free on the homepage opens the workspace in guest mode, and the sign-in popup is only shown when a feature genuinely needs an account. Guest boards run in a sandbox and are not saved.

Guests and free accounts get 3 file adjustments per day and 1 saved board, with a 10MB maximum upload size. The counter resets every 24 hours — guest counts are kept locally in your session, and account counts are tracked on our side so they follow you across platforms. Tool files are deleted instantly after download; whiteboard retention is session-only on Free, 24 hours on Plus and 7 days on Pro.

A premium modal appears with a plan comparison and an Upgrade button that opens Paddle's hosted checkout page in a new tab.

No, by design. There are no signature pads, contract workflows, medical or tax trackers, and no personal-data extraction. That keeps the product free of those regulatory obligations.

Cancel any plan in one click from your account page; access continues until the end of the paid period. We also offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on paid tiers — refunds are handled by Paddle, our Merchant of Record, at paddle.net or through our contact page.

Click any Upgrade button on the pricing page or inside a premium modal. You will be taken to Paddle's secure checkout. To change plans, cancel the current one and subscribe to the new plan.

Paddle, our Merchant of Record, accepts major credit and debit cards, PayPal and other local payment methods depending on your country.

Your current paid access continues until the billing period ends. After that, limits drop to the new tier. If you have more saved boards than the new tier allows, you will need to choose which boards to keep.

We do not currently offer a separate enterprise tier. Pro covers the heaviest individual use; contact us if you need a custom arrangement.

Go to your account settings and choose Delete account. This removes your profile, subscription linkage and saved boards from our database. Drafts stored locally in your session are not affected.

Click the Sign in button in the header. You can sign in with email and password or with Google. The whole flow happens in a popup, so you never leave the page you are on.

Yes. On the sign-in popup, choose Forgot password and enter your email. A reset link will be sent to you.

Authentication is handled by Lovable Cloud auth with Row Level Security on every user-facing table. Passwords are never stored in our database.

Yes. Plus and Pro members can import files directly from Google Drive and Dropbox using the cloud import buttons in the workspace and on the homepage.

It generates professional documents from a short prompt, such as cover letters, CV summaries or business letters. The output can be edited and exported to PDF.

Layers uses a leading third-party large language model through a secure gateway. Your prompts are sent over encrypted connections and are not used to train models under our provider terms.

AI document creation, chat with PDF and premium translation are Pro features. Free and Plus users can still use all private PDF tools and basic templates.

Plus members can translate whole documents in every supported language, with tone control. Pro adds layout-perfect document translation and unlimited use. Free accounts can translate text snippets.
