Common questions

Do I need an account to use Layers?

No. The core PDF tools and the whiteboard work straight away. An account saves your boards and files and raises the daily allowance.

Which features need a paid plan?

Plus unlocks larger files, printable sheets, flowchart nodes and the expense sheet. Pro adds every AI tool, translation and the KPI, OKR and budget dashboards.

Does Layers offer electronic signatures?

No. Layers deliberately does not provide e-signature functionality.

What happens to my files?

Most PDF work is processed privately and never uploaded. Server-side conversions delete the file as soon as your download completes.
